Stores, banks, schools, daycares, and businesses are shut down
The road is eerie and quiet
Empty is the town,
but the birds are still singing
Babies are born,
and the clock keeps on ticking.
The soil is warming up, waiting patiently , for the seeds, still eager to be planted.
No, it has not ended.

We planted our sunflowers in May with our OSC seeds. Our customers as well as ourselves were happy to see them grow into 10 feet long gorgeous blooms, fully covering our sign! (something we did not intend to do!)

Today a customer from Serbia came in to buy some plants. He decided on 'hens and chicks' succulents (sempervivum) because he said the latin name meant always living and that in Serbia they would put the juice of the plant in people's ear for good health.
